Rev. Dr. Peter Barnes

Dean

Peter Barnes (MA (Hons), BD, DipEd, ThD) is a pastor, lecturer and author. He has been the pastor at Revesby Presbyterian Church for over 20 years, has taught Church History at Christ College Sydney for over 30 years, and has been involved in Christian Schooling and Theological Education for over 30 years.

Jemimah Wilson

Lecturer (BA (Hons), MA)

Jemimah has an MA in Philosophy from Yale University and a BA(Hons) in Philosophy and English Literature from the University of Queensland. Her honours thesis on René Descartes is published in the History of Philosophy Quarterly journal.

Dr. Peter Barnes

Rev. Dr. Peter Barnes is a pastor, lecturer and author. He has been the pastor at Revesby Presbyterian Church for over 20 years and has taught Church History at Christ College, Sydney for over 30 years.

Paul Barnes

Guest Lecturer (BT/BA)

Paul Barnes studied at ACU, majoring in Modern and Ancient History. He teaches HSC Modern, Ancient and Extension History at Belmont Christian College. He also attends Charlestown Presbyterian Church.

Brett Lee-Price

Adjunct Lecturer (BA (Hons), GradDipDiv, MA)

Having several degrees in Theology and History, Brett chiefly focuses on the life and theology of Arthur Walkington Pink. He also focuses on Church History, specifically in the areas of Byzantine Christianity, Early 20th Century Evangelicalism, and the development of Baptist Thought. Brett was also once attached to the Department of Chinese Studies at UNSW.

Tom Halls

Guest Lecturer

Tom Halls is an Ordained Minister in the Reformed Evangelical Anglican tradition, with over 30 years experience teaching and demonstrating Expository Preaching and associated subjects. Most recently Tom has been attached to St Andrews Cathedral Sydney as Preacher-at-Large.

David Maher

Guest Lecturer

David has been the minister of Burwood Presbyterian Church for 18 years. Prior to that he served with Burwood Chinese Presbyterian Church (Gracepoint) in their English ministry and also in their youth ministry.

Dr. Peter Wolnizer

Guest Lecturer (BEc UTAS; MEc PhD Sydney; FCA; FCPA; OAM)

Peter Wolnizer is Professor Emeritus at The University of Sydney where he served as Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business from 1999-2010 and Professor of Accounting until his retirement at the end of 2011.

Thomas is an elder at Smithfield Baptist Church and the marketing manager of Reformers Bookshop.

Richie Arthur

Lecturer (BA (English, Literature, Philosophy))

Richie has a Bachelors degree in Literature and Philosophy from the University of Sydney and currently works in dementia care.

Koh Saito

Lecturer (BA (English, History), BEd)

Koh is a pastoral assistant at Ashfield Presbyterian Church and holds a Bachelor of Acts (English and History) as well as a Bachelor of Education from UNSW.

Cameron is the Lecturer in Applied Theology and Missional Engagement at Christ College since 2021, prior to which he was an visiting Assistant Professor at Covenant College, Georgia, a Lecturer at Faith Mission Bible College in Edinburgh, an Assistant Pastor at Parish Presbyterian Church in Franklin, Tennessee, and a Missionary in Bogota, Colombia.

Elliot Ku

Guest Lecturer (BA/BEd, MDiv, GradDipDiv, PhD Candidate)

Elliot is an Adjunct Lecturer in church history at Christ College. He is also privileged to serve as a pastor at GracePoint Presbyterian Church (Lidcombe Campus). Elliot is currently undertaking a PhD in Patristics with a focus on Augustine’s theology of joy in his Enarrationes in Psalmos.

Matthew Payne

Guest Lecturer (BT, BDiv, MA, PhD candidate)

Matthew N. Payne is a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney whose research focuses on the life and thought of William Perkins. He is an experienced high school teacher and university tutor who has authored several academic articles in the fields of biblical studies and historical theology, and has co-edited three books related to the work and theology of William Perkins.
